Programs that build stronger communities
Fairness and safety are necessary for communities to thrive. We treat these as a single mission through programs like strategic grantmaking and apprenticeships that create direct career pathways for justice-impacted people.

Funding a fairer, safer world
Our grantmaking is built on two pillars that support the long-term stability of communities: advancing economic mobility for those with a record and protecting the most vulnerable from digital exploitation.
Fairness grants
Focused on reducing recidivism by providing justice-impacted individuals with high-quality job training, mentorship, and career pathways.

An employment-first organization providing career training, certifications, and reentry support for currently and formerly incarcerated women.
An AmeriCorps program for justice-impacted young adults, pairing a paid service year with mentorship and skills development.
Integrated education and career training serving justice-impacted youth and their families.
Safety grants
Focused on preventing digital fraud, scams, and abuse through technological innovation and cross-industry data sharing.

Building public-private partnerships to stop scams before they reach people's phones and computers.
Bringing together corporate partners to share data and dismantle transnational elder fraud networks.
AI-powered technology helping law enforcement and tech companies quickly detect and remove child sexual abuse material.
Opening doors for untapped talent
One in three American adults has a record and faces unemployment rates up to 10x the national average. Our apprenticeship program connects justice-impacted individuals with pathways to long-term, high-wage careers.
Committed to creating pathways to economic mobility for justice-impacted individuals.

The Catalyst Apprenticeship Program
A multi-employer initiative pairing 12-month paid apprenticeships with on-the-job training and mentorship. It gives justice-impacted people a real foothold in the professional workforce and employers a proactive pathway into fair chance hiring.
Building the evidence base for safety
Effective policy and intervention rely on accurate data. We’re investing in research to measure the true scope of fraud and exploitation in America. By building the evidence base that advocates and policymakers need to act, we're turning data into initiatives that create a safer future.
U.S. adults have been scammed in their lifetime

The Gallup Research Initiative
A national study of more than 5,000 Americans measuring the impact of fraud and scams. Conducted in early 2026, the study examines 2025 incidents of scamming to build a clearer picture of who is most affected, how much they lose, and what interventions work.
